About the position

Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to script, document, advise, and assist in building multiple cloud Azure environments for the Department of Defense. This role involves executing new frameworks across various environments and collaborating with a diverse team of professionals. The candidate will be responsible for developing deployment and sustainment scripts from the ground up for a new program.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve the automation pipeline and integrated deployment processes to build new Microsoft Azure environments.
• Perform technical support to the team and assist in developing security protocols.
• Utilize DevOps tools to ensure the code compiles and passes any tests.
• Assist the team with upgrades and patches of virtual environments.
• Develop and execute regression test scripts to verify system functionality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience and a Security+ certification.
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineering experience.
• Experience with Gitlab, Cloud Compute, Kubernetes, and SCAP.
• Demonstrated experience managing software version control and software source code base.
• Demonstrated experience developing software using an Agile framework.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or related field of study.
• Candidate must possess an active, DoD-issued TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
