About the position

The Director of Marketing Analytics & Business Intelligence at Cisco is a pivotal role responsible for driving measurement, reporting, and return on investment analysis for marketing efforts. This position requires a dynamic marketing professional with expertise in customer and marketing analytics, particularly in the B2B SaaS sector. The role involves building and maintaining reporting dashboards, collaborating with cross-functional leadership, and presenting insights derived from data analysis to decision-makers. The ideal candidate will leverage analytical tools to transform complex data into actionable insights that support financial targets and pipeline growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive measurement, reporting, and return on investment analysis for marketing efforts.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards using data from various sources.
  • Work with cross-functional leadership to build sales/marketing models supporting financial targets and accurately predict pipeline growth.
  • Lead the standardization of critical metrics and develop methods for streamlining measurement gathering.
  • Engage with multi-functional infrastructure collaborators and analyze sophisticated data sets to communicate key insights.
  • Present and communicate insights and strategies derived from data analysis to decision-makers across the organization.
  • Use Salesforce.com data to analyze marketing performance and identify opportunities for growth, testing, and optimization.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance across various channels, including trade shows, email, advertising, and webinars.
  • Monitor site traffic, content efficiency, and performance against various conversion metrics using analytic tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, International Business, or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 6 years of business intelligence, data analytics, operations, or consulting-related experience, preferably in the B2B area.
  • Proficiency in Tableau and Salesforce.
