About the position

As a Customer Experience Associate at the Exchange, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional service to military members and their families. This role involves various retail responsibilities, including cashier duties and assisting in different store departments. The Exchange is committed to giving back to the military community, making this position not just a job, but a meaningful contribution to those who serve.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with eye contact and a smile.
• Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to your lane.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation.
• Assist customers by following proper procedures for bagging merchandise and moving large or heavy items.
• Cross-train and work in other areas of the store as needed.

Requirements

• Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Able to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions.
• Must possess a welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Retail experience preferred.
