About the position

The position involves performing maintenance, construction, and testing tasks in the electrical and instrument controls area to ensure the operational integrity of the plant and its systems. The role requires following detailed instructions and executing complex assignments under general supervision, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Preplan and execute maintenance tasks in the electrical and instrument controls area.
• Perform construction and testing tasks to maintain plant operations.
• Conduct common mechanical work consistent with training to support plant operations.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete the Nuclear Technician - Controls (2508) Modular Training Course.
• Qualify on at least 110 days of systems training.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and carry out complex assignments.
• Aptitude for mechanical and technical work.
• Strong observation skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must have completed appropriate Pre-Employment Tests unless exempt due to prior employment conditions.
• Must qualify for an auto driver's license in New Jersey.
