About the position

Q Analysts is seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join a dynamic project in the Virtual Reality (VR) space. The role focuses on manual testing of functionality for current and future product releases, ensuring accurate quality evaluation and regression testing of tracking systems and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Execute regression test cases to validate product functionality and ensure consistency across releases.
• Edit and maintain existing test cases to ensure accuracy and coverage.
• Review and analyze bug reports from team members and reproduce issues to verify.
• Investigate and report on software and hardware bugs, following up with clear, detailed documentation.
• Verify bug fixes and perform test case execution for the resolution of issues.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of both hardware and software.

Requirements

• Proven experience testing mobile, PC, and web applications across a variety of devices.
• Competency with command-line tools and technical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with bug-tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.
• Strong deductive reasoning skills and ability to identify the root cause of issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and accurately.
• A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Android-based testing or experience with VR technologies is a plus.
