About the position

As a Human Resources Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for managing various tasks related to benefits renewals, statements, and billing. This role involves planning and administering open enrollment, wellness programs, ACA compliance, and Education Assistance programs. You will also support the HR team with payroll and other cross-functional processes, ensuring effective communication with employees regarding their benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage benefits renewals, billing, and statements.
  • Work with outside vendors, such as wellness providers and insurance representatives, to address employee benefits questions.
  • Support wellness initiatives and handle open enrollment processes.
  • Process payroll changes and assist with life insurance and disability plans.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related field, or 2-3 years of HR experience with a focus on benefits.
  • Experience in HRIS benefits and reporting.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to think critically, adapt, and problem solve.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual/Multilingual skills.
  • Certified SHRM designation (CP).
  • Experience with ADP reporting and system maintenance.
