About the position
Steady Install is seeking skilled installers for commercial and office furniture and racking installation projects. As an installer, you will work within a team to efficiently install and assemble various types of office furniture, including systems furniture, case goods, accessories, and wall-hung systems. The role requires the use of your own full tools, including a commercial-grade drill, to install cubicles, racking, desks, panels, and chairs within client facilities. You will be responsible for completing assigned tasks in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of quality and workmanship. Customer satisfaction and professionalism are paramount in this role, and you will be expected to uphold these standards throughout your work. Installers are categorized into different levels based on their experience and tool requirements. Level 1 installers, who are experts, earn $22.00 per hour and are required to have full tools. Level 2 installers, with senior experience, earn $19.00 per hour and also require full tools. Level 3 installers, who are mid-level, earn $17.00 per hour and need basic tools, while Level 4 installers, who are entry-level, earn $15.00 per hour and do not require any tools. The pay structure is designed to reward experience and skill, with opportunities for advancement based on performance. Requirements
- Own reliable transportation.
- Possess full tools required for installation tasks.
- Have 2 or more years of direct experience with office furniture, millwork, or racking installation projects.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Be a self-starter and quick learner.
- Exhibit punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and climb up and down ladders.
