The role of Production Worker involves assembling and packing bedding components while exceeding customer quality and expectations. This position is available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, and the company is willing to train the right candidates. The job includes a sign-on bonus, weekly production bonuses, and shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Benefits become active after 30 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble bedding components through gluing applications.
- Create bed structures from the production schedule.
- Identify different types of foam accurately.
- Create and issue tags through SAP for inventory management.
- Visually inspect and measure dimensions of products before packaging.
- Work towards achieving daily production goals.
- Read and understand customer packaging specifications as required.
- Set up and operate convoluter machinery as needed.
- Poly wrap, label, and stage products according to customer orders.
Requirements
- Basic math skills to count foam components accurately.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues practically.
