About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in assembly line processes. This role involves working with various hand tools and power tools to fabricate and assemble components efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to fabricate components as required.
- Operate machinery safely within the assembly line environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct routine inspections of assembled products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in the training of new employees on assembly techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Operate forklifts as needed for moving materials around the warehouse and assembly area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly line processes is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Nice-to-haves
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
