The Controlled Substance Processor position at Inmar involves working in a controlled substance cage at a processing station. The primary responsibility of the CS processor is to accurately and efficiently identify all controlled substance (CS) products contained in each box and enter data into the system for each item. This role requires processing both controlled and non-controlled substances that arrive in inbound boxes. For those assigned to Class 2 (CII) products, the processor will be responsible for completing the 222 form by noting the quantities and date of the substances processed. The position operates on a first shift schedule, from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with mandatory overtime that may include some weekend work from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. In this role, the CS processor will individually scan each item to collect data for invoicing and determine whether each piece is a non-controlled, CII, or CIII-V for sorting purposes. The processor will pre-sort all items according to the I-tag (pink identification sticker) and must clock in at the appropriate location and time. Adherence to all security rules while working in the control cage and following safety protocols is essential. The work environment requires maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and the physical demands of the job include regular use of hands for handling objects, standing, kneeling, or stooping, and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds. The position emphasizes personal credibility, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and client satisfaction.
