About the position
This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. The role involves monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. This position could work in any department of this meat processing facility, requiring standing, walking, bending, squatting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Lifting up to 40 lbs or more may be required, and candidates must be able to stand for 8-10 hours on hard floors with repetitive motions. The work environment is cold and damp, with slippery walking surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process.
- Ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.

Requirements
- Must have 6 months of work experience listed on application (can be with multiple employers).
- Prefer 3 months of machine operator experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- RF scanner experience preferred.
