About the position

The Maintenance Technician position at a titanium manufacturing facility in Washington, MO, involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various mechanical and electrical components of production machines. The role requires collaboration with maintenance staff and engineers to improve and maintain equipment efficiency while adhering to production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Initiate improvements and permanent corrective actions for equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff, managers, supervisors, and engineers.
• Maintain a general knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals; knowledge of math and measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance, HVAC, hydraulic systems, plumbing, electronic diagnostics, and fabrication (welding, grinding).
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Bigfoot CMMS.
• Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and teamwork ability.
• Forklift and man lift/crane authorization.
