About the position
As an Equipment/Facilities Preventative Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of preventative maintenance on CNC and manual machining equipment, as well as the facilities. This role involves maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and keeping accurate records of maintenance actions.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC and manual machining equipment.
- Fill and remove machines with cutting fluids, oils, and coolants as needed.
- Grease lathe chucks daily.
- Handle filter replacements on CNC equipment, air compressors, and HVAC units.
- Maintain general housekeeping throughout the shop, including operating floor sweepers and hand mops.
- Empty and monitor garbage containers in the shop and office daily.
- Remove, clean, and install CNC coolant tanks.
- Maintain and keep records of all PM actions performed.
Requirements
- Experience in preventative maintenance on CNC and manual machining equipment.
- Ability to operate sump pumps, pressure washers, forklifts, man lifts, and overhead cranes.
- Experience with filter replacements on CNC equipment, air compressors, and HVAC units.
- Strong record-keeping skills for PM actions.
