1st Shift Packaging Operator

About the position

KOST USA is looking for a 1st Shift Packaging Operator to join our team! We are looking for a self-motivated, professional, and organized individual who enjoys detailed work and a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Following all established procedures and abiding by all safety guidelines.
• Loading drums onto skids.
• Placing appropriate labels onto each drum, tote, and pail.
• Filling totes, drums, and pails by hooking up the correct hoses to the correct pump or tank.
• Opening the appropriate tank valves and turning on the correct pump to fill the container.
• Visually inspecting the transfer hose and container for leaks.
• Blowing the line clear after each transfer.
• Shrink wrapping and storing containers in the appropriate location within the plant.
• Keeping the plant and warehouse organized, safe and clean.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school education is required.
• Forklift experience required.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous packaging experience preferred, but not required.
