About the position

The Painter position at UE Manufacturing involves performing painting and surface preparation duties according to United Engines specifications and product manufacturer guidelines. The role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all painting tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Use paints, solvents, and other chemicals to prepare surfaces for painting and cleaning.
• Work inside the paint booth, shop, wash bay, or outdoors as required.
• Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment.
• Correctly prepare and tape off surfaces before painting.
• Safely hang parts for painting and remove painted parts from racks for shipping.
• Maintain a strong commitment to the safety culture.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of industrial painting and bodywork.
• Ability to read blueprints and paint codes and mix paint.
• Ability to use various types of measuring devices.
• Must be capable of utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
