About the position
As a 1st Shift Seasonal Packager, you will play a crucial role in our production process by following established procedures and working under the supervision of the Production team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking up products from the production line, performing inspection duties, and packaging finished products into appropriate containers. This position is essential to maintaining the quality and efficiency of our operations, ensuring that all products meet the required standards before they reach our customers. In this role, you will be expected to adhere to Quality Control standards, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, where your contributions will directly impact the success of our operations. The work environment will involve frequent exposure to a plant setting, which includes noise, heat, and machinery. You must be flexible and able to work any shift, as well as be prepared for shift rotations and frequent weekend and holiday work. Responsibilities
- Pick up product from the line and package into appropriate container (30%)
- Perform inspection duties required for production of all products (20%)
- Case and pack all products manufactured (30%)
- Rework any product which does not meet quality specifications (10%)
- Inspect and record information for proper code identification and maintain required production records (10%)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- No prior experience required
