About the position

The Warehouse Associate - Shipping is responsible for preparing orders for shipment to customers, ensuring accuracy and quality in the shipping process. This role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The associate will operate various equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Follow set work standards for picking orders.
• Safely operate and utilize manual and powered equipment.
• Load and unload product in an efficient and safe manner.
• Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping.
• Scan products using RF scanner.
• Review orders for shipment to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Powered Industrial Truck certification for Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience with RF scanner and Warehouse Management System.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions.
• Keen attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and checking.
• Arithmetic skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to follow directions accurately with little supervision.
