About the position

The Warehouse Office Clerk will support the Warehouse Manager and Supervisors by handling clerical and administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving operations. This role emphasizes quality assurance and customer service, ensuring efficient processing of shipments and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support to management and operations functions, including filing, faxing, scanning, and emailing.
  • Serve as the frontline customer service representative to address and escalate customer inquiries and issues.
  • Prioritize workflow to maximize the number of shipments resolved and sent out for delivery in the same day.
  • Monitor and oversee shipping and receiving documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain, review, and complete paperwork required for the shipping/receiving process.
  • Analyze, retrieve, and evaluate information as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 2 - 4 years of related experience in a similar role or capacity preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of general office equipment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
  • Dependable, trustworthy, ethical, honest, and possess integrity.
  • Organized with a systematic method of performing tasks.
  • Ability to act calmly under stress and strain.
