About the position
The LPN at Buchanan County Health Center is responsible for providing nursing care in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking and the ability to coordinate resident care effectively, ensuring that nursing standards are consistently met while managing and assisting in the care of residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in accordance with departmental and BCHC policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of resident care.
- Manage resident care and assist others in the management of resident care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Current licensure as an LPN in the State of Iowa.
- One year LPN nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- Ability to demonstrate self-confidence and a positive attitude toward self and others.
- Excellent team player and communication skills.
