About the position

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing diagnostic radiographs and performing imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols. This role requires the technologist to demonstrate clinical judgment, interact positively with various departments, and adhere to safety and health policies. The position is part of a weekend package, emphasizing the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic radiographs and perform imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current AART Certificate or board eligible for registry and Iowa Permit to Practice License.
• CPR Certification required upon hire.

Nice-to-haves

• One year of professional experience (requested but not required).
• Certification in or willingness to train in CT.
