About the position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with experience in various settings, including long-term care, hospice palliative medicine, and emergency room environments. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the well-being of patients across different age groups.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient health status through physical examinations and medical histories.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
• Perform procedures such as tube feeding and coding when necessary.
• Support patients in various settings including pediatrics, geriatrics, and hospital medicine environments.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in long-term care, hospice palliative medicine, ER, or hospital medicine is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and nursing practices related to patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
