About the position

PSEG is seeking a Staff Intern for the Gas Distribution & Field Construction department. This role involves supporting various business units within the administrative team, focusing on tasks such as payroll reporting, procurement, and invoice processing. The intern will work closely with professionals to standardize processes and maintain accurate records, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with drafting memos and correspondence to standardize processes.
  • Maintain all files, records, and reports in easily accessible locations.
  • Provide standardization and better accuracy of clerical functions such as credit card reports and audit functions.
  • Demonstrate judgment in prioritizing work and recognizing when to escalate issues.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Management, Leadership/Organizational Development, or a related Business major.
  • Graduating between December 2025 and May 2028, with specific eligibility criteria for students graduating in May/June 2025.
  • Completion of freshman level coursework is required.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
