About the position
The Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for various coaching positions for the 2024-2025 Winter Sports Season. Available positions include Head, Assistant, and Volunteer Coaches for Boys/Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Winter Track, Bowling, and Cheer. This is a stipend position, with compensation provided at the end of the season based on the class of the coaching position.
Responsibilities
- Coaching student-athletes in designated sports during the winter season.
- Developing and implementing training programs for athletes.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and competitions.
- Communicating effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration.
- Attending all scheduled practices and competitions.
Requirements
- Must have valid NJ Teaching Certification or Substitute Certification to apply.
- Must have experience and knowledge of the sport of interest.
- 2+ years of coaching experience preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience coaching at the high school level.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
