About the position

The Athletics Department at Florida International University (FIU) is seeking a Social Media/Content Creator Student Assistant to support the Athletics Media Department. This role is designed for current FIU students eligible for Federal Work Study, focusing on content creation and social media management. The assistant will engage in various media responsibilities, including photography, graphic design, and video editing, while also assisting at events that may occur during evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in content creation including photography, graphic design, and video editing.
• Help with posting on social media platforms.
• Assist in the office at events, which may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Current FIU student and eligible for Federal Work Study.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
