Findlay MS is committed to the growth of our staff and students. We offer a Jumpstart program led by experienced Learning Strategists who assist new teachers with technology and classroom strategies. Responsibilities

• Teach social and emotional skills to students in grades Pre-K through 12.
• Collaborate with counselors and social workers to provide comprehensive support to students.
• Participate in professional learning communities to align lessons and assessments.
• Engage in the Jumpstart program to receive support and training as a new teacher.
• Implement restorative strategies to assist students in achieving their behavioral and academic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Ability to acquire a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education before starting the position.
• Completion of background checks with both the Clark County School District and the Nevada Department of Education.
