About the position

The K-12 Social/Emotional Teaching position at Clark County School District is designed to support students' social and emotional development within the educational environment. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching license or certification in the state of Nevada.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in special education or social/emotional learning settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Education.
  • Experience with trauma-informed teaching practices.
  • Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with social and emotional learning frameworks.
