About the position

Third Future Schools is a high-achieving and growing network of charter schools, and we are currently seeking a dedicated kindergarten teacher for our Sam Houston school in Midland, TX. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping students improve their academic proficiency while fostering habits of success. As a kindergarten teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and orderly learning environment for your assigned students, as well as contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the school. You will work under the supervision of the principal and assistant principal, ensuring that all students receive the support they need to thrive. At Sam Houston, our teachers are provided with extensive support to facilitate their teaching efforts. Expert curriculum developers will supply lesson plans, demonstrations of learning, and student assignments and activities, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality instruction. Additionally, teacher assistants will be available to help with administrative tasks such as making copies and grading papers, which means you can dedicate more time to engaging with your students. Our teachers enjoy minimal duties, with only four days of additional responsibilities each month, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. The minimum salary for a teacher with at least three years of demonstrated achievement results is set at $70,000, with a competitive pay range of $65,000 to $70,000 per year. We also offer comprehensive health benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, for only $50 a month, making it an attractive opportunity for educators looking to make a significant impact in the lives of young learners.
