About the position

The Manager of Data and Operations (MDO) at Collegiate Academies is responsible for creating a safe, joyful, and peaceful environment for students, families, and staff. This role involves overseeing enrollment processes, ensuring data accuracy and compliance, managing food services, and leading team efforts to maintain an exceptional organizational culture. The MDO plays a crucial role in supporting the school's mission to prepare students for lives of unlimited opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage enrollment processes and family orientation to ensure a safe environment.
  • Provide families with key information about the school, including uniforms, transportation, and important dates.
  • Oversee midyear enrollment processes, ensuring timely placement and scheduling for new scholars.
  • Schedule and manage intervention courses and testing days throughout the year.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in attendance records and hold staff accountable for attendance expectations.
  • Collect and maintain accurate student enrollment documents and records in PowerSchool and SchoolRunner.
  • Coordinate testing processes for various assessments and lead training for staff on testing procedures.
  • Manage food services and ensure communication of food needs to staff and vendors.
  • Organize and manage volunteers to maintain a welcoming front office environment.
  • Collaborate with staff to foster a positive organizational culture and hold team members accountable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least two years of experience working in high-performing urban schools preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong knowledge in the content area of choice, demonstrated through lesson planning and execution.
  • Ability to find joy in successes and challenges of work.
