About the position

The Manager of People and Talent Acquisition at Magnolia Educational & Research Foundation is responsible for overseeing various aspects of talent acquisition and people operations. This role combines strategic and hands-on approaches to recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR processes. The Manager will collaborate closely with the Director of People and Talent Acquisition to attract, hire, and retain top talent while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of a centralized hiring plan that streamlines the recruitment process.
  • Partner with educational organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Lead international hiring initiatives to attract a diverse and talented workforce.
  • Participate in the interview process, ensuring a consistent and positive candidate experience.
  • Support marketing and branding initiatives related to recruitment.
  • Plan and execute recruitment events to attract top-tier talent.
  • Consolidate recruitment resources and standardize hiring procedures.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of resumes to identify top candidates for further consideration.
  • Conduct talent searches and be the point of contact for schools in effective job postings.
  • Generate and update employee agreements.
  • Manage the talent acquisition module in the HRIS system.
  • Manage internal personnel action forms (PAFs) in the HRIS system.
  • Regularly update personnel sheets to ensure accurate information.
  • Lead improving staffing processes, templates, and talent acquisition dashboards.
  • Complete employee verification forms and EDD forms.
  • Manage employee engagement programs to foster a motivated workforce.
  • Train hiring managers on standardized hiring procedures.
  • Support new hire orientation to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Provide support for additional duties as assigned by the Director of People and Talent Acquisition.

Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discretely and professionally at all times.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with adults of varying professional experience.
  • A solid drive to surpass objectives and take initiative.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in educational recruitment or partnerships.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and talent acquisition modules.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
