Responsibilities

• Compiles and reviews budgets for corporate or organizational units using various data sources.
• Prepares financial plans and monitors implementation of financial policies.
• Prepares regular and special-purpose reports and maintains historical records.
• Analyzes trends and establishes cost rates and personnel forecasts.
• Recommends and interprets budgetary policies and procedures.
• Prepares comparative evaluations of actual costs against budgeted funds.
• Determines rationale for variances between costs and budget.

Requirements

• Must be completing or have completed a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution for Associate Budget Analyst.
• Must be majoring in or have majored in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Final approved U.S. Government security clearance is required, with U.S. citizenship as a prerequisite.
• For Budget Analyst, must be completing or have completed a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of direct experience.
