About the position

The 2024 Internship Program at Cognosos offers students the opportunity to work on next-generation wireless asset tracking solutions. Interns will engage in hands-on projects that contribute to the company's initiatives while learning from experienced professionals in a collaborative environment. This in-office internship is designed for students majoring in engineering disciplines, providing a platform to develop skills in hardware and software development.

Responsibilities

• Own and complete a project during the internship.
• Collaborate with team members to contribute to Cognosos's initiatives.
• Learn from experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science (CS), or Mechanical Engineering (ME).
• Passion for developing cutting-edge products and services.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software.
• Lab experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, etc.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and protocols like UART, I2C, SPI.
• Experience with Python scripting or equivalent.
• Embedded C programming experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and expand skill set.
