About the position

JT4, LLC is seeking skilled Electronic Technicians to provide engineering and technical support for various electronics disciplines related to military test ranges. The role involves working with a range of electronic equipment, performing installation, maintenance, repair, and testing to ensure operational readiness of systems used by the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy. Candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting and modifying equipment, documenting actions, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, overhaul, and troubleshoot various electronic equipment and related devices.
• Modify and construct electronic systems as required.
• Test and ensure the operational readiness of transmitting and receiving equipment, digital and analog computers, and other electronic devices.
• Perform daily electronic logbook entries and document problem reports and corrective actions.
• Work with high voltage power supplies, microwave amplifiers, and Ethernet interface equipment.

Requirements

• Five years of hands-on experience in electronics disciplines.
• Good understanding of tubes, transistors, logic gates, and high-power RF sources.
• Full ISCET, ETA, or FCC Radar endorsement certification.
• Education from an ABET accredited technical school with courses in Math, Basic Electronics, Microwave Theory, Telecommunications, Telemetry, or RF disciplines.
• Current TS-SSBI Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated proficiency in general electronics including AC, DC, digital logic, and data acquisition.
• Experience with soldering and troubleshooting to the component level.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, and Word).
