About the position

The Advancing Black Pathways (ABP) Fellowship Program is a five-week paid summer fellowship aimed at undergraduate sophomores interested in financial services careers. This program seeks to attract students from underrepresented groups, particularly Black students, and provides exposure to the industry, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Participants will engage in hands-on experiences and complete a project-based curriculum, with the potential for a 2026 Summer Internship offer upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage in learning opportunities to gain a comprehensive understanding of the firm's businesses, clients, and customers.
  • Actively pursue opportunities to enhance professional development skills, including attending training sessions and engaging with mentors.
  • Prepare and present a curriculum-based project to an audience of senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Sophomore standing (expected graduation date of December 2026 through Summer 2027).
  • Attends college/university in the U.S. (all majors considered) in good standing.
  • Demonstrates a significant commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through campus activities, community service work, and/or related leadership activity.
  • Possess a strong interest in developing professional skills for future opportunities in financial services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
