About the position

The 2025 Advancing Black Pathways Fellowship Program is a five-week paid summer fellowship designed for undergraduate sophomores interested in financial services careers. This program aims to provide early exposure and professional development opportunities to students from underrepresented groups, particularly Black students. Participants will engage in hands-on experiences, mentorship, and a project-based curriculum, with the potential for future internship offers upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage in learning opportunities to gain a comprehensive understanding of the firm's businesses, clients, and customers.
  • Actively pursue opportunities to enhance professional development skills, including attending training sessions and engaging with mentors.
  • Prepare and present a curriculum-based project to an audience of senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Sophomore standing (expected graduation date of December 2026 through Summer 2027).
  • Attends college/university in the U.S. (all majors considered) in good standing.
  • Demonstrates a significant commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through campus activities, community service work, and/or related leadership activity.
  • Possess a strong interest in developing professional skills for future opportunities in financial services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
