About the position

The Associate Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst position at Northrop Grumman involves preparing, developing, and coordinating integrated master plans and schedules to meet program objectives. The role requires collaboration across various functional groups to ensure project schedules are aligned and effectively managed. The analyst will utilize project management techniques to track progress, perform risk analysis, and resolve conflicts, contributing to the success of defense systems projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, develops, and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet program objectives.
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, and identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, and earned value management to gauge progress and identify performance variances.

Requirements

  • Must be completing or have completed a degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
  • Must be majoring in or have majored in a Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Nice-to-haves

  • Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Open Plan.
  • Proficient in Excel.
