About the position

The BNY Summer Internship Program offers high-potential students a rewarding 10-week internship experience within the People Team, focusing on Human Resources. Interns will engage in meaningful projects that challenge and develop their skills while gaining insights into the operations of a leading global financial services organization. The program emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and professional development, providing interns with a comprehensive understanding of BNY's commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meaningful and challenging work assignments that deliver learning and skill development.
• Engage in enterprise-led intern orientation and ongoing training programs.
• Collaborate with corporate leaders and mentors for career development and networking.
• Gain exposure to various areas of the business, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and Diversity & Inclusion.
• Develop professional etiquette and financial services fundamentals.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a focus on business or technology-related majors, preferably in Human Resources.
• Graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and well-rounded experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• No requirement for sponsorship for employment visa status.
