About the position
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Undergrad Intern for the Datacentric Platforms and Architectures Department within the Information Systems and Cyber Division (ISCD). This internship offers an opportunity to engage in cutting-edge data engineering and work on innovative cloud-native applications that address complex challenges in the space enterprise. Interns will collaborate with experienced developers and subject matter experts to develop scalable data analysis pipelines and tools, contributing to projects that support national security and civil space initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop cloud native applications to solve complex problems in the space enterprise.
- Collaborate with a team of developers and subject matter experts on various space-related projects.
- Utilize cloud technologies to provide data engineering and architecture solutions.
- Communicate key contributions to project leaders, product owners, and customers.
- Work closely with National Security Space, United States Space Force, and other Department of Defense customers.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full-time after completion of the internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Intermediate programming skills.
