About the position
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Cloud Native Developer Intern for the Datacentric Platforms and Architectures Department within the Information Systems and Cyber Division (ISCD). This internship offers an opportunity to work on innovative cloud-based data analysis solutions that support national security and civil space missions. The role involves developing cloud-native applications and collaborating with a team of experts to tackle complex challenges in the space enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Developing cloud native applications to solve complex problems in the space enterprise.
- Collaborating with a team of developers and subject matter experts on various space-related projects.
- Leveraging cloud technologies for data engineering and architecture solutions.
- Interfacing with project leaders, product owners, and customers to communicate contributions to projects.
- Working closely with National Security Space, United States Space Force, and other Department of Defense customers.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full-time after completion of the internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Possess organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing organizational needs.
- Interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts with internal and external organizations.
