About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking interns for the 2025 Consumer Lending Summer Internship Program, aimed at developing future leaders in the Consumer Lending sector. This ten-week program offers undergraduate students a blend of business and professional development training, focusing on business analytics, credit acumen, product management, and analytical thinking. Interns will gain hands-on experience, receive coaching, and have opportunities to network with senior leaders, with the goal of potentially securing a full-time analyst position in the following year.

Responsibilities

  • Receive formal training opportunities through onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Analyze data and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Work on customer-centric projects to enhance current processes and identify best practices across multiple lines of business.
  • Gain insights into and experience collaboration with business partners on strategy, planning, and project management.
  • Expand professional network through mentorship, sponsorship, and engaging with senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Bachelor's degree candidate with an expected graduation date in December 2025 - May/June 2026.
  • Strong enthusiasm for data & analytics with proficiency in one or more analytics tools such as Power Bi, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate and solve analytical problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated innovative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and self-starter initiative through projects, coursework, and/or extracurricular activities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.

Nice-to-haves

  • Concentration in Business Analytics/Data, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, Business Statistics, or Business Administration/Business Management.
  • Ability to organize insights from multiple sources into a clear story.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
