This is a Summer 2025 Internship - Must be available Tuesday, May 27 - Friday, August 1, 2025. We are currently seeking a talented and driven Data Engineering Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced software engineers to develop and maintain software products, learn about the latest technologies and industry trends, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Responsibilities

  • Ensure effectiveness of the current Information Technology systems.
  • Prepares database loadable files for the data warehouse.
  • Applies pre-defined business transformation rules.
  • Designs and develops back-end databases for business intelligence applications.
  • Program, test, implement and maintain any data extraction programs necessary to extract the data.
  • Designs and develops ETL processes for delivery into the data warehouse.
  • Ensuring the correct application of the business rules through data query after the data is loaded into the Data Warehouse.
  • Monitor loads to ensure successful completion.
  • Perform Data conversion, Quality and Verification activities.
  • Perform SQL tuning for PL/SQL procedures, Views, Tableau reports, etc.
  • Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly data operations and schedule processes.
  • Identifies and Coordinates source data extraction from other operational systems.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience in database development (Microsoft SQL Server 2019+, Microsoft SQL Integration Services).
  • Non-SQL programming experience (R, Python, Java, C, C++, Spark, Graph, etc.).
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snow Pipes, LLMs and meta data driven approach.
  • Financial/Mortgage Industry Experience.
