About the position

As a Data Science Analyst at JPMorgan Chase, you will be part of the Data & Analytics organization, focusing on delivering innovative solutions that leverage data science, research, and business acumen. This role involves working on projects related to machine learning, business intelligence, data engineering, and visualization, with the goal of creating impactful solutions for clients and customers. You will collaborate with agile teams to develop end-to-end solutions that address real-world business challenges, utilizing your technical skills and understanding of the business context.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or related major with analytically rigorous coursework with an expected graduation of December 2024 - August 2025.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in a coding language and willingness to learn and apply Python or SQL during internship.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of machine learning / data science theory, techniques and tools and experience working with large disparate data sets.
• Experience in mathematics and statistics modelling.
• Awareness of big data technologies (Hive, Hadoop, Spark) and/or computer clusters.
• Awareness of standard analytical tech stacks (Jupyter Notebooks, AWS, Spark, PyTorch, R, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings in an understandable manner to a non-technical audience.
