In this role, you will deepen your knowledge of FMLA and Paid Sick Leave law and enhance your knowledge of DIRECTV's process as well as various tools used to manage attendance. You will be involved in the day-to-day administration and navigation of DIRECTV's approach to attendance management, partnering with the Field Services team on all communications related to attendance management. Additionally, you will work with various Leave systems and navigate managing protected vs. unprotected absence policy and protocol, as well as navigate the administration of attendance policy compliance and adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day administration and navigation of DIRECTV's approach to attendance management.
  • Partner with DIRECTV's Field Services team on all communications related to attendance management.
  • Work with various Leave systems and navigate managing protected vs. unprotected absence policy and protocol.
  • Navigate administration of attendance policy compliance/adherence.

Requirements

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel (Vlook up, formulas, pivot tables)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Solid understanding of how to utilize and navigate the various collaborative tools in Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with HR systems is a bonus
  • Demonstrated success collaborating cross functionally in a virtual environment
  • Strong and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality guidelines
  • Self-starter and not afraid to ask the important questions
  • Organized and can effectively prioritize across teams
  • Critical/strategic thinker and problem solver with a strong attention to detail.
