About the position

The Intern position at TIAA offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry over a 10-week summer internship program. Interns will participate in a comprehensive training and onboarding program, engage in speaker series, lunch-and-learns, and cohort activities, while working closely with various business areas such as Technology, Asset Management, Financial Analysis, and more. This role is designed to provide insights into the organization and the industry, fostering personal and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties such as taking memos, organizing documents, maintaining files, photocopying, and faxing as needed.
• Assists in preparing information and research materials, including PowerPoint presentations.
• Takes notes during meetings and provides them to team members.
• Researches and gathers documentation as directed by colleagues.
• Attends company functions, including training programs, speaker series, lunch-and-learns, and social networking events that provide opportunities for career growth and personal development.
• Shadows multiple office jobs and trains in a variety of tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 3.0 GPA required
