About the position
The Corporate Real Estate Intern at Regions Bank is a summer internship program designed for college students to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, specifically within the commercial real estate sector. Interns will work closely with the Transaction Management team, participating in various projects and learning about the daily operations of corporate real estate. This role emphasizes personal development, networking opportunities, and the acquisition of valuable job skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in market research, property analysis, client interactions, and presentations.
- Shadow experienced professionals in client meetings, property showings, and lease negotiations.
- Conduct property site visits to assess physical condition, marketability, and investment potential of properties.
- Create pertinent reporting and ad hoc business/product analysis.
- Interact with middle and senior management across multiple bank business units.
Requirements
- A college student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Real Estate, Marketing, Management/Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks.
- Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Nice-to-haves
- Active in leadership positions on campus and/or involved in campus extracurricular activities.
- 3.2 minimum overall GPA.
