About the position

The U.S. Equity Research Analyst position at BNP Paribas is part of the Global Markets Americas team, focusing on providing independent investment recommendations through research and financial modeling. The role involves supporting the Senior Equity Research Analyst in analyzing company and industry data, building financial databases, and publishing investment-driven research reports. Analysts will engage in a comprehensive training program, gaining exposure to various aspects of equity research and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal independent investment recommendations to advisory clients via published reports and financial models.
• Assist the Senior Equity Research Analyst in building, reviewing, and maintaining financial databases and models.
• Analyze company and industry data to support investment recommendations.
• Build an investment thesis and publish investment-driven research reports and notes.
• Meet with corporates, investors, and media outlets to discuss research findings and investment strategies.
• Support the growth in coverage as part of the strategy to expand BNP Paribas Exane Research in the U.S.
• Collaborate with teams within the firm, such as corporate access, research sales, specialist sales, and trading.

Requirements

• Graduation year of Winter 2024 - Spring 2025.
• Strong academic background with sharp analytical skills.
• Ability to articulate ideas well to clients and colleagues.
