About the position
The Logistics Analyst at Raytheon is responsible for managing the execution of receiving, warehousing, and material distribution activities within a Centralized Distribution Center (CDC). This role involves overseeing the expedite process from submission to delivery, addressing delays, and collaborating across functions to resolve issues. The analyst will monitor inventory activities to ensure efficient material movement and will work closely with various teams to support operational priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage expedites from submittal to delivery, communicating issues related to delays.
- Collaborate and communicate with peers and leadership to influence work area practices.
- Identify, define, and resolve problems that are not immediately evident.
- Execute program priorities related to Receiving Dock, Warehouse, Inspection, and Transportation.
- Interact with support manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality regarding deliverables and audits.
- Review and analyze transactions performed by team members.
- Implement minor improvements to processes, systems, or products to enhance work area performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Preferred majors include Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills for task execution.
- High computer literacy with confidence in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (SAP).
