About the position

The Electrical Engineer I position at Raytheon focuses on the research, development, design, and integration of electrical components and systems for defense applications. The role involves working on radar systems, specifically in the Receiver, Exciter, and Back-end Processing Department, where engineers will engage in circuit analysis, design documentation, and hardware integration. This is an onsite position that requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the successful development and testing of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct circuit analysis and simulation.
  • Maintain design documentation and perform trade assessments for obsolescence resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware performance issues.
  • Integrate and test digital components and modules.
  • Analyze hardware and firmware test requirements to determine specifications.
  • Develop solutions to test issues and enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with test technicians, operations managers, and quality assurance personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major.
  • 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
