About the position
The Effectors Center within Systems Integration & Test at Raytheon is seeking talented Systems Engineers to support the integration of hardware and software, develop test plans, and verify system requirements. This role involves collaborating across disciplines to ensure systems function correctly and meet customer specifications. The position is onsite in Tucson, AZ, with occasional travel for test events, not exceeding 15%.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Flight Test activities in labs, the field, or at a test range.
- Support qualification of products.
- Troubleshoot and analyze failure data, including root cause and corrective action processes.
- Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations using analysis tools like MATLAB.
- Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.
- Experience with tools such as MATLAB or Python for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with military platforms for weapons conveyance, such as ships and aircraft.
- Experience with telemetry data collection equipment for Real Time data capture.
- Experience with electrical schematics and communications protocols.
- Experience with reading and integrating software routines with hardware/electronics; C/C+/C# preferred.
- Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets.
