About the position
The Technical Solution Architect role at IBM involves understanding client needs and delivering high-quality solutions that have a meaningful impact. This position requires leadership throughout the solution delivery process, from requirement gathering to implementation, leveraging advanced knowledge of products and technologies to influence positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall delivery of solutions from requirement gathering through implementation.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance users to understand their requirements and improve financial processes as they transition to SAP.
- Work closely with sales and logistics teams to ensure accurate accounting from integrated processes.
- Design, implement, and support SAP Financials within the organization.
- Provide IT support and ensure legal and regulatory compliance for Accounting, Finance, and Tax systems.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a similar business degree.
- Strong knowledge and skills in Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting.
- Innovative problem-solving skills, including analyzing root causes and preparing solution alternatives.
- Ability to challenge existing procedures and processes to enhance and improve them.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong aptitude for learning software packages and applying solutions to accounting requirements.
