About the position

The 2025 Intern Multi-Disciplined Electrical Engineer position at RTX Corporation is designed for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields. This internship offers hands-on experience in various areas of electrical design, including analog, digital, mixed signal, and power design. Interns will work under limited supervision to contribute to the design, analysis, integration, testing, and documentation of electrical hardware, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, integrate, test, and document electrical hardware of moderate complexity.
• Capture, analyze, and create hardware engineering requirements for medium complexity components.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure electrical design aligns with project goals.
• Participate in cross-functional team efforts for integration and testing of designs and sub-systems.
• Utilize appropriate processes and tools during hardware development.
• Make independent decisions in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Report on technical performance, cost, and schedule for assigned work.
• Support customer reviews and meetings.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major.
• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
• 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse coworkers.
• Experience in conflict resolution with diverse teams.
